We welcome comments on this site but we ask that you keep the following guidelines in mind when commenting.

General Guidelines

• use your real name and email address in the comment form
• stay on-topic when commenting and make sure your comment is relevant to the original post 
• use clear language and don’t use profanity or offensive language in your comments
• be constructive and respectful with any criticism
• don’t post in all caps

Unacceptable Behaviour

Differing points of view are encouraged but we reserve the right to remove and delete comments for any/all of the reasons mentioned below:

• any comments that violate our Privacy Policy
• any comments that could be considered a personal attack or defamatory
• any comments that are derogatory against someone’s race, religion, colour, sex, disability, etc
• any comments that could be considered harmful to individuals or the community
• any spam comments or comments attempting to sell items or services
• any comments that violate copyright or trademarks etc

Repeated offences will lead to bans and particularly harmful comments will be referred to local authorities.

Can’t find your comment on the site?

• the first comment you make is moderated; if you don’t see it right away, it’s likely in the moderation queue to be approved
• the site runs into technical difficulties from time to time as well, your comment may not appear until the issues are resolved
• if your comment doesn’t appear after 24 hours then it likely has not been approved because it broke one of the rules listed above

Can’t leave any comments at all?

If you find you cannot leave a comment at all, then you have likely been blocked/banned due to repeated offences as listed above. This may cause previous comments to disappear from the site as well. This action is final and will not be undone.
