Golden Clouds

If onlyI could beLike a cloud in the skyAnd just drift away

I took this in Belmont a couple of days ago. I'd wandered down to the lake to catch the sunset and after the last couple of sunsets I'd tried to photograph had been disappointing, I was really hoping it would be a good one.

Luckily it was! It was a beautiful sunset and I really liked the way the wispy clouds seemed to catch and amplify the light. It almost looked like the clouds were on fire and my main aim was to try to capture that in the photo. I like the final result.
