Swansea Sunset Relics

I had a photoshoot scheduled in Swansea yesterday afternoon but it was cancelled at the last minute. Unfortunately I was already in Swansea when I got the call so rather than just go back home I decided to shoot the sunset instead.
Originally I was going to go on to Caves Beach for the sunset but on the way I found the remains of this little pier hidden behind some houses. I loved the decay and texture and some silly litterbug had even left a bike in the water too.
I spent all of golden hour in that spot and it was a lot of fun. Ironically I used to go to Swansea quite often while we lived at Caves Beach but I'd never shot here before. I guess it shows how sometimes you need to look at somewhere with new eyes to really see it.
